EJMS is proud to be the home of both Ealing Children's Choir and Ealing Youth Choir.

Ealing Children's Choir was founded in the 1950's, and is now administered by Ealing Junior Music School. It provides girls and boys aged 7-14 with the opportunity of singing high-quality choral repertoire, in EJMS and local events as well as further afield. ECC has appeared on Sky TV and performed in large-scale concerts such as Benjamin Britten's War Requiem, Carl Orff's Carmina Burana and the world premiere of Paul Ayres's The Christ.

Other recent repertoire includes music by Bach, Handel and popular songs such as Yesterday, The Rhythm of Life, The Very Thought of You, Take the A-Train, and Shenandoah.

Ealing Children's Choir rehearses on Saturdays 10.30am.-11.30am. and new members are always welcome. The Choir is conducted by the Assistant Music Director, Sarah Wilby.

Ealing Youth Choir was founded in 1985 and is open to all singers aged 10-21 who enjoy a wide range of music-making. The choir has been on TV (London Tonight) and radio (Classic FM). Since 2004 it has been running as part of EJMS, rehearsing on Saturdays 11.30am-12.30pm.

We perform all kinds of music: by Purcell, Monteverdi, Lennon & McCartney, Bach, arrangements of popular songs, Vivaldi, spirituals, Britten, Ward Swingle, madrigals, improvisation and new compositions.
In 1997 EYC won an award from the National Lottery's Arts for Everyone Scheme, facilitating a series of choral workshops with leading tutors (Mike Brewer of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, Ken Burton of the London Adventist Chorale, Keel Watson of English National Opera and Roddy Skeaping of City Waites).

The Choir is conducted by the Music Director, Scott Price. New members are always welcome.

In addition, there is the EJMS Adult Chorale, a chamber choir for adults - all welcome.
