MUSICIANSHIP

Musicianship is an introduction to theory & composition.

The aim of the classes is to:
have fun,
learn ensemble skills,
become aware of how music works,
and begin to improvise.

Students use their own instruments, voices and percussion. For example this term students have created their own pieces of music based around stories (also written by them) and are hopefully going to perform them at the end of term concert.

The age range is from 5 - 10, and there are four sessions with up to ten students in each group at the moment.
